Yuvraj Singh’s Canada Super 60 Set for July Launch

The Canada Super 60, a new T10 cricket league spearheaded by Indian cricket legend Yuvraj Singh, is generating significant buzz ahead of its inaugural season in July 2025. The league has attracted an impressive pool of over 1,300 registered players from 34 countries, including approximately 1,135 men and 235 women, making it one of the most diverse cricket tournaments in North America.

High-profile international stars such as Finn Allen, Sikandar Raza, Naseem Shah, Alex Hales, Jason Roy, Tim Southee, Jimmy Neesham, and Chris Lynn headline the men’s roster, while the women’s competition features renowned names like Maddy Green, Jess Jonassen, and DeandraDottin. The league will debut with eight teams, each blending Canadian talent with global stars, and will include a designated quota for players from associate nations.

For the first time in North American cricket, both men’s and women’s divisions will run simultaneously from the outset, highlighting the league’s commitment to inclusivity and growth. Matches will be played in a fast-paced 10-over format, lasting about 90 minutes, at the CAA Centre in Brampton, Ontario. Organizers, including assistant tournament director Kyle Coetzer, believe the high-profile signings and innovative format will elevate Canadian cricket and provide invaluable exposure for local players. The draft dates will be announced soon, with both competitions set to launch in July.
