The match saw an intense moment when Tino Best and Yuvraj Singh exchanged heated words after Best attempted to leave the field due to injury. Yuvraj raised the issue with umpire Billy Bowden, who called Best back. The confrontation escalated but was resolved during a strategic timeout when Yuvraj playfully patted Best on the back. Yuvraj responded on-field with a towering six, reminiscent of his iconic six sixes in 2007.
India’s chase was anchored by Rayudu’s aggressive innings, supported by Tendulkar’s classic strokes. Stuart Binny sealed the win with two sixes. The victory marked a nostalgic celebration of cricket’s golden era as India Masters became the first-ever IML champions.
