Vaibhav Suryavanshi 101 off 38 Powers RR to 8-Wicket Win Over GT in IPL 2025

Rajasthan Royals secured a commanding eight-wicket victory over Gujarat Titans in Match 47 of IPL 2025 at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur, on April 28. Chasing a formidable target of 210, the Royals made the run chase look effortless, reaching 212/2 in just 15.5 overs.

The win was headlined by 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s record-breaking century. Suryavanshi smashed 101 off only 38 balls, becoming the youngest player ever to score a hundred in senior T20 cricket and the fastest Indian to an IPL century, reaching the milestone in just 35 balls. His innings included 11 sixes and 7 fours, setting the tone for a 166-run opening stand with Yashasvi Jaiswal, who finished unbeaten on 70 off 40 balls.

Earlier, Gujarat Titans posted 209/4, with skipper Shubman Gill top-scoring with 84 and Jos Buttler contributing a quick 50. However, their total was overhauled with ease as Rajasthan’s young sensation and Jaiswal dismantled a strong Titans bowling attack, helping RR break a five-match losing streak and keep their playoff hopes alive.
