The top three elected officials of the Hyderabad Cricket Association have been suspended.
Rule 41(6) and Rule 15(4)(d) of the HCA Memorandum of Association and Rules and Regulations-2018 have been used to authorize the action, according to a statement issued by the Apex Council on July 31. Police are currently holding all three office-bearers on suspicion of forgery and money theft.
The three were charged with major offenses, including fraud, cheating, misuse of funds, and abuse of public position, according to the announcement. The charges are being looked into by investigating agencies such as ED and CID.
The Hyderabad Cricket Association is still dedicated to upholding the greatest values of honesty, openness, and responsibility. According to the announcement, this decision was made with the broader goal of preserving the association's reputation and guaranteeing that due process is applied fairly and impartially.
Vice President Daljeet Singh is serving as acting president in the absence of the president, secretary, and treasurer.
