He highlighted the frequent changes in the lineup during the first four games as a departure from CSK’s traditional approach.
Watson suggested that Devon Conway and Rachin Ravindra form the ideal opening pair, with Ruturaj Gaikwad batting at number three for better balance. Despite Dhoni’s struggles, Watson expressed confidence in his ability to finish games when supported by the top order.
