RCB Star Batsman Virat Kohli becomes first player in IPL to Score 7500 runs

During the match between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Rajasthan Royals on Saturday the premium batter of RCB Virat Kohli wrote his name in the history books after becoming just the first player to complete 7,500 runs in the Indian Premier League history.

Kohli has been in great form in the IPL 2024 and continues to shine for RCB. He scored a brilliant century in the match as he now has three tons in the last seven innings in the tournament. The former skipper of RCB stood up once again by helping his side get on with a quick start with a 125-run partnership with Faf du Plessis.

He has now completed 7,500 runs in IPL in his 242nd innings, which is the most by any batter in the tournament’s history. The second on the list is another Indian, Shikhar Dhawan, who has 6755 runs in 221 matches.

Kohli looked the old version of himself during the match against RR as the 35-year-old scored his first century of IPL 2024, and his eighth overall, which is the most in tournament’s history. Former RCB batter Chris Gayle is second on the list with six tons.
