New Zealand Beat Pakistan by 9 Wickets in 1st T20I of Five Match Series

New Zealand secured a dominant win over Pakistan in the first T20I of their five-match series, chasing down a modest target of 92 runs in just over 10 overs. Openers Tim Seifert and Finn Allen led the charge, scoring the bulk of the runs as Pakistan's bowlers struggled to contain the hosts' aggressive approach. Earlier, Pakistan, led by stand-in skipper Salman Ali Agha, endured a disastrous start, losing four wickets for just 11 runs. New Zealand's bowlers, spearheaded by Kyle Jamieson and Jacob Duffy, who claimed three and four wickets respectively, dismantled Pakistan's batting lineup.

Despite a brief recovery effort from Agha and Khushdil Shah, Pakistan failed to build momentum as both batters were dismissed before converting their starts into significant contributions. The visitors were eventually bowled out for a meager 91 runs. New Zealand’s disciplined bowling performance left Pakistan reeling, with little resistance offered by the middle and lower order. This comprehensive victory gave New Zealand an early lead in the series and highlighted their dominance with both bat and ball.
