Mumbai Indians beat Royal Challengers Bengaluru by 6 Wickets

Mumbai Indians Women secured a thrilling 6-wicket victory in their recent match, showcasing their resilience and depth. Chasing a competitive target of 168 set by Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Mumbai reached 170/6 with just one ball to spare at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru, during the Women’s Premier League 2025.

Captain Harmanpreet Kaur led from the front with a composed 50 off 38 balls, including eight boundaries and a six. Natalie Sciver-Brunt provided a blazing start with her 42 off just 21 deliveries, hitting nine fours. Amanjot Kaur played a crucial role in the middle order, remaining unbeaten on 34 off 27 balls, ensuring Mumbai crossed the finish line in a tense chase.

Earlier, Royal Challengers Bengaluru posted 167/7 in their 20 overs, with notable contributions from their batters. However, Mumbai’s bowling attack kept them in check during critical moments. Georgia Wareham was the standout bowler for RCB, claiming three wickets, but her efforts weren’t enough to secure a win.
