Lucknow Super Giants Beat Gujarat Titans by Six Wickets in IPL 2025

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) secured a thrilling six-wicket victory over Gujarat Titans (GT) in their IPL 2025 clash at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium on Saturday. Chasing a target of 181, LSG reached 186/4 with three balls to spare, thanks to stellar performances from Aiden Markram and Nicholas Pooran.

Markram scored a composed 58, while Pooran smashed an explosive 61, including several boundaries and sixes, to steer LSG’s chase. Ayush Badoni contributed with an unbeaten 28, ensuring the home side crossed the finish line comfortably. GT’s Prasidh Krishna impressed with figures of 2/26, while Rashid Khan and Washington Sundar picked up a wicket each.

Earlier, GT posted 180/6 after being invited to bat first. Captain Shubman Gill led the charge with a solid 60 off 38 balls, supported by Sai Sudharsan’s half-century. Despite their efforts, GT lost momentum in the middle overs due to disciplined bowling from LSG.

This victory marked another strong performance for LSG, who continue to climb the points table with consistent displays. GT, meanwhile, will need to regroup after their second loss of the season. The match showcased LSG’s ability to chase under pressure and highlighted their growing confidence in IPL 2025.
