India Women’s 2026 Tour: Hobart Steps in to Host Two ODIs

Although the match will still take place on March 1, 2026, the third Women's ODI between Australia and India on the 2026 tour has been moved from Melbourne's Junction Oval to Hobart's Bellerive Oval.

The third Women's ODI between Australia and India on the 2026 tour will now take place in Hobart's Bellerive Oval instead of Melbourne's Junction Oval, but it will still take place on March 1, 2026.

Planning delays at the Junction Oval, where supporters would not have been able to reach some areas of the venue due to freshly installed lighting not being ready for a day-night match, prompted the switch. Due to the short turnaround between matches, rescheduling the third ODI as a day game in Melbourne was not an option because the second ODI was already set for February 27 in Hobart. Consequently, two of the three ODIs will now be held in Hobart.

Renovations also caused the MCG to be unused during this time.

India will tour Australia from February 15 to March 9, 2026, playing three Twenty20 Internationals, three One-Day Internationals, and a four-day Test match.
