India ruled out Priya Mishra and Shreyanka Patil. A tour around Australia

In addition to Patil, legspinner Priya Mishra has also been sidelined for the tour due to an undisclosed illness. According to a BCCI announcement, both players are still being treated by the BCCI Medical Team at the Centre of Excellence and are going through their return-to-play procedures.

Yastika Bhatia has been included as a late addition to the one-day squad, and Dhara Gujjar and Prema Rawat are taking the place of the injured spinners in both formats. Previously featured in inselective squads, Rawat (only T20) and Gujjar (only one-day and multi-format) will now be staying longer.

The fact that Bhatia was included in the one-day team would mean that the BCCI was watching her closely because the Women's ODI World Cup was just over two months away. Although she was included in the team, she did not play in the recently finished three-match ODI series between India and England, which India won 2-1.

In three Twenty20 matches, three one-day matches, and one four-day encounter, India A will play Australia from August 7 to August 24.
