India beat Pakistan by Six Wickets in the Champions Trophy Match 2025

Virat Kohli scored his 51st ODI century as India triumphed over Pakistan by six wickets in Dubai, successfully chasing down a target of 242 runs. After Pakistan opted to bat first, they struggled early, finding themselves at 47 for 2 before Saud Shakeel and Mohammad Rizwan stabilized the innings with a crucial 104-run partnership. Shakeel made 62 runs, while Rizwan contributed 46, but once they were dismissed, Pakistan's batting faltered, leading to an all-out score of 241.

India's response was anchored by Kohli's impressive century, complemented by Shreyas Iyer's half-century and Shubman Gill's solid 46. The Indian bowlers had set the stage for victory, with Kuldeep Yadav shining with figures of 3 for 40, effectively dismantling the Pakistani batting lineup. This win not only showcased India's dominance over their arch-rivals but also secured their place in the semi-finals of the tournament. The match underscored India's strong performance following their earlier victory against Bangladesh, further solidifying their status as contenders in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
