Delhi Capitals are already set to play the remainder of the campaign without their opening batsman Jake-Fraser McGurk. The franchise signed Mustafizur Rahman as a replacement for the Australian batsman.
Fraser-McGurk's release will not hurt DC, as he was dropped from the team after the first six matches, in which he scored only 55 runs. Mustafizur's contract also indicates DC's back-up plan, in case Mitchell Starc returns to India for the T20 league.
