Former coach of RCB slams trophy-less side for not “putting faith in local talent”
Former Royal Challengers Bengaluru head coach Venkatesh Prasad has criticized RCB’s strategy ahead of IPL 2025, questioning their commitment to winning their maiden title. Prasad’s comments come as RCB prepares for IPL 2025 under new captain RajatPatidar.
Historically, RCB has had notable local talents like Anil Kumble, Rahul Dravid, and Vinay Kumar, but the current squad lacks a strong local presence.
