During DPL opening ceremony, Rishabh Pant to be felicitated by DDCA for winning T20 World Cup
The captain of PuraniDilli 6’s Rishabh Pantwill be felicitated by the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA)in the inaugural edition of the Delhi Premier League (DPL) T20. The wicketkeeper batter will be celebrated by the DDCA for helping the Indian cricket team win the T20 World Cup 2024 in June.
Team India hadn’t won an ICC title in 11 years, and although Pant wasn’t at his best throughout the tournament, he played a vital role in India’s run to the trophy. As per the report the southpaw will be felicitated during the DPL opening ceremony, after the performances of singer Badshah and actress SonamBajwa at their home ground, the ArunJaitley Stadium.
Moments after being honoured by the DDCA, Pant will take the field as Purani Delhi 6’s captain as he goes against Ayush Badoni’s South Delhi Superstarz in the first match of the DPL T20 2024 edition.
