Did the high-profile India versus Pakistan match contribute to Naseem Shah's absence from the ODI World Cup 2023?

The pace sensation in Pakistan Naseem Shah is a back-terrarizing batsman after a shoulder injury sidelined him from the 2023 ODI World Cup, which was held in India. However, the culprit behind that injury can be pain pointed to a single high-octane clash between India and Pakistan.
While bowling during the Super 4 Asia Cup clash in Colombo, Naseem suffered a shoulder injury. Later, he spoke of a tendon rip and a feeling of something tearing within his shoulder. The extent of the damage required surgery in the United Kingdom, followed by a long period of rehabilitation, which forced him to miss the much-anticipated 2023 ODI World Cup.
During the match against India in September 2023, when he fell down, he knew, but the doctor was going to say something to him. Naseem said, “I had to undergo surgery, and that is a big deal if you have never had surgery before. There was a ball I bowled against India in the Asia Cup super four stage, after which I fell down. And just before that, I felt a tendon in my shoulder rip and sensed a gap in there. When we did a city scan and a doctor approached me, I said, I know what you are going to tell me. You are going to tell me I am out for 6 months.”
