Dhoni is in splits for not hearing the voice of Doull in the middle of the Chepauk crowd roar

On Sunday, Chennai Super Kings had the opportunity to become the first team in IPL 2023 to secure their place in the playoffs because Gujarat Titans, who are still the table toppers, lost their opportunity on Friday after dosing their match against Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede stadium. But against the Kolkata Night Riders, CSK stumbled to a six-wicket loss at the Chepauk. In the final home game of this season, the batsmen at CSK fielded miserably and got dismissed only after scoring 144 for 6, which was easily chased down by KKR with the help of a brilliant partnership from Rinku Singh and captain Nitish Rana with 9 balls to spare.
Despite losing the match, Dhoni was in a cheerful mood. As per the ritual, the captain of the losing team speaks to the commentators after the match and before the post-match presentation; therefore, Dhoni also approached commentator Simon Doull. But as Simon approached his first question, Dhoni was seen smiling, and a huge roar from the Chepauk crowd nullified the voice of Doull, and the captain was in splits.

Dhoni first signalled that he could not hear a word from the question before he moved closer to the speakers and increased the volume. Doull again repeated his question, and the "Dhoni" chants from the crowd continued, but this time Dhoni was able to hear.
