Despite the faster recovery of India star Rishabh Pant, there will be no World Cup 2023 for him.

The future of Rishabh Pant as a future wicketkeeper is quite unsure, but the starting batsman is trying his best to get back to his best. He will take another 6-7 months to get back on the field, despite the fact that he is recovering faster than expected. Pant still needs support to walk, but now it is expected that he’ll be able to walk on his own in the upcoming weeks. Despite all the positives, he is still ruled out of the 2023 World Cup. It is expected that he will make his return to the team in January next year.

This is considered a very quick recovery, according to the reports. He reported to the NCA on Wednesday as he continues his rehabilitation from the terrible accident he faced last year in the month of December.

A senior BCCI official told InsideSport that "Rishabh is recovering really well. But it is going to take another 6–7 months at least to be walking and stretching again. The World Cup is a bit of a stretch for him at the moment. We just want him to recover completely before focusing on cricket again. It will take a lot of time for him to be back in competitive cricket."
