Delhi Capitals star misbehaves with woman at party; franchise enforces strict ‘Code of Conduct

After the incident where a player of the Delhi Capitals misbehaved with the movement, the franchise enforced a strict code of conduct. The franchise has put in new restrictions, according to which guests will now need permission to enter player rooms. Furthermore, no guests are to be entertained after 10 p.m., as David Warner and his team are looking to avoid any more distractions this season.
As per the Indian Express, the Delhi Capitals have issued a code of conduct to all franchise players and staff after their win against Sunrisers Hyderabad. These rules are set to maintain the image of the franchise after an incident where a DC player misbehaved with a woman at a party.
Permission from the IPL team integrity officer needs to be obtained along with photo identification for room entry. Otherwise, the players are free to entertain their guests, but it should be in the team hotel’s restaurant or coffee shop.
However, DC has allowed wives and girlfriends to travel with the players, and the expenses of the same will have to be met by the player himself. The player will have to inform the team in advance when family members join and also when they leave the team hotel to meet somebody.
