He has scored only 47 runs in six matches, which is very disappointing for a player of his caliber. On-field performance is not the only issue that Prithvi Shaw is facing right now. Off the field, for his involvement in a controversial brawl with influencer Sapna Gill, he is facing legal action.
In this ongoing season of the IPL, Prithvi Shaw played around six matches where he scored 47 runs with an average of 7.83 and a strike rate of 117.50. His best score of this season is only 15 runs. Now, because of his poor performance, the team management has taken the hard decision to drop him from the team.
His technical flaws against quality bowling have been exposed, and he has also failed to capitalize on the starts that he has gotten.
