Delhi Capitals find replacement of LungisaniNgidi in all-rounder Jake Fraser-McGurk for IPL 2024

The Delhi Capitals have named the all-rounder of Australia, Jake Fraser-McGurk, as a replacement for the injured LungisaniNgidi for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League in 2024.
Ngidi, who is a South African fast bowler, has been a valuable asset for DC in previous seasons. With 25 wickets in his 14 IPL appearances, he brought experience and firepower to the bowling attack. Unfortunately, an injury will sideline him for the 2024 edition.
Stepping up to fill the void left by Ngidi’s absence is Jake Fraser-McGurk. The Australian all-rounder, who has already represented his country in two One-Day Internationals, joins the Delhi Capitals at his reserve price of INR 50 lakh. While uncapped in the IPL, Fraser-McGurk’s capabilities with both bat and ball offer DC some exciting possibilities.
With the IPL season fast approaching, all eyes will be on Fraser-McGurk to see if he can adapt to the high-pressure environment and replicate Ngidi’s impact. His performance will be crucial for the Delhi Capitals’ hopes of lifting the IPL trophy this year.
