Delhi capital players' bats, each worth lakhs of rupees, along with other equipment were stolen

The misery continues for the Delhi Capitals in this Indian Premier League season 2023, as after five defeats in a row in IPL season 16, they have suffered more setbacks this time off the field. The equipment of some of their players has gone missing before their match against the Kolkata Night Riders.
Along with 16 bats, pads, shoes, thigh pads, and gloves, these items were stolen from the Delhi Capitals players' kit bags once they arrived in Delhi on Sunday. After their match against Royal Challengers Bangalore at the Chinnaswamy Stadium, they took off from Bangalore that afternoon.
As per the report by Indian Express, five bats belong to teenager Yash Dhull, three belong to captain David Warner, one belongs to all-rounder Mitchell Marsh, and three belong to wicketkeeper Phill Salt, while some of the cricketers lost their shoes, gloves, and other accessories. The most important thing to note here is that each of the foreign players spent about 1 lakh rupees.
