David Miller, Rashid Khan, and Co. humble paediatric cancer patients with a meet-and-greet event
healthcare global The leading cancer care provider collaborated with the defending champion Gujarat Titans to organise Titans of Inspiration: Beyond the Game, a meet and greet event for the paediatric cancer champions. The event provided a unique platform for young cancer champions to interact with heroes from the world of cricket. The cancer champions and the players of the Gujarat Titans shared their personal stories of overcoming hardships and celebrated their victories together, making this event memorable and filled with joy and inspiration.
Players of the Gujarat Titans, including Rashid Khan, David Miller, Matthew Wade, Mohit Sharma, Wriddhiman Saha, and Abhinav Manohar, participated in the event by spending quality time with the children. They also gave the cancer champions special curated cricket kits along with their autographs and taught them a few tricks of the game to exhibit their support and encouragement.
In order to raise awareness about paediatric cancer and to highlight the resilience of champions and their courage, a coffee table book featuring individual case stories of these children and their journey of fighting against cancer was also launched during the event.
