CSK defeat Gujarat Titans by 63 runs in IPL 2024

In Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024, Chennai Super Kings maintained their winning streak as they defeated Gujarat Titans by 63 runs in the tournament’s match no. 7 on Tuesday in Chennai.
Earlier, the Shubman Gill-led Gujarat Titans won the toss and chose to bowl first at the M.A Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai against the five-time champions, Chennai Super Kings. The youngster, RachinRavindra began his innings on a positive note as he got boundaries regularly in the powerplay.
Racing towards the 40s he looked to continue his aggressive approach which led to a fine stumping from the GT keeper, Wriddhiman Saha to give the visitors their first breakthrough.
Rahane was struggling for most of his time in the middle but the skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad was able to pick up the pace and keep the scoreboard ticking for the home side. Rahane was dismissed by the Tamil Nadu-based spinner, R Sai Kishore with another stumping by Saha.
