CSA to generate $68.7 million in 28 days as IND vs SA series big money spinner

Cricket South Africa has its hopes pinned on the month-long series between India and the South African cricket team to cover $6.3 million in losses. With no India tour since December 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, CSA has been incurring losses. But the India vs. South Africa series is all set to generate a whopping $68.7 million for three T20Is, three ODIs, and two Test matches. It will be enough to cover losses for three years and sustain Proteas cricket for three years. Apart from the senior team matches, there is also a shadow tour with India A facing South Africa A in two four-day First Class matches.

As per a report, Cricket South Africa has incurred losses of $6.3 million, $10.5 million, and $11.7 million in the last three years, respectively. While the India Cricket Team is the real money-spinner for teams such as England and South Africa, for Team India, it’s a crucial series.
