On Tuesday, Team India also unveiled their 15-person roster for the major competition, with all-arounder Hardik Pandya being picked as Rohit Sharma's replacement. Sanju Samson, Tilak Varma, and Yuzvendra Chahal did not make the team, while KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer did. The squad has been announced, and supporters' anticipation for the games is growing. The World Cup tickets are officially on sale, and fans are beginning to reserve their seats for the exciting games. The Golden Ticket for the World Cup was presented to Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan on Tuesday by BCCI secretary Jay Shah.BCCI tweeted an image on X (formerly known as Twitter) with the remark, "Golden ticket for our golden idols! Our golden ticket was presented to none other than Shri @SrBachchan, the "Superstar of the Millennium," by BCCI Honorary Secretary @JayShah. Shri Bachchan, a renowned performer and ardent cricket fan, continues to motivate us all with his unflinching support for #TeamIndia. Venkatesh Prasad, a former Indian pacer, advised BCCI to treat supporters with respect and practise some "transparency" in the ticket sales process."I call on the @BCCI to not take the World Cup supporters for granted and to increase openness in the ticketing process. If the stadium's capacity is more than one lakh, then more tickets than the 8500 that have already been sold are definitely needed for the #IndvsPak match. The fans need to get a bigger portion of every other game as well. Instead of keeping a sizable portion for corporations and members, Prasad wrote, it would be more satisfying to keep the devoted fan satisfied and give them access to this chance. Tweet
