Crazy celebration of Virat Kohli's captaincy return gives goosebumps to RCB fans

To lead RCB for the 141st time, Virat Kohli took over the captaincy from Faf du Plessis for a one-off match in the Indian Premier League season 2023 on Thursday. Kohli became the stand-in captain because du Plessis is healing from his rib injury. Making the most of the impact player rule, du Plessis opened the innings for the RCB and played an important knock for the team against PBKS. Virat Kohli, who guided the Royal Challengers Bangalore to the IPL finals back in 2016, scored a half century to help Bangalore post a match-winning total against Punjab Kings. He also broke multiple records while producing a captaincy masterclass as the RCB icon rolled back the year for IPL fans.
Kohli also used star spinner Wanindu Hasaranga much earlier than Faf du Plessis had in IPL 2023. Spinner Hasaranga took the wicket of Matthew in the second over of the PBKS innings. Fast bowler Siraj took four wickets and gave away 21 runs as RCB defeated PBKS. Y will score 25 runs in the IPL of 2023.

After the match, Kohli said that "the table can't define your team." It's towards game 13 or 14, where we can try and focus on what we need to do. Faf batted really well on that pitch. His inning ensured we had that 20- to 30-run cushion at the end. The pitch was very rough underneath; there was not enough water there, I guess. There were hardly any sixes hit off the back foot against the spinners. The strategy was to bat deep to have a crack at 190. told the bowlers that the target was more than enough.
