While talking about the ODI World Cup 2023, which is going to be held in India later this year, Chris Gayle has picked India, England, Pakistan, and New Zealand as the four semi-finalists. On the much-awaited Indo-Pak match that is going to be held in Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on October 15, Gayle said that whenever those teams play, especially in the World Cup, the revenue stage and rate are humongous, and one game can take care of the entire ICC event. Pakistani and Indian players should demand a lot of money for those games because they are high-paying TV games.
While laughing, he said, "I don't control the board of the ICC; if I were in their position, I would want a lot more."
While talking about his RCB teammate Virat Kohli, Gayle said that tough times don't last long, and tough players last longer. Virat is stuff mentally as well as physically, and I don’t see any reason why he shouldn't go to this World Cup and dominate as a player. As players, we always go through faces; their things are a bit dull, and you need positive energy around to apply yourself. Once we get back in the group, we know how dangerous we can be."
