Former captain of India cricket team MS Dhoni has picked premium pacer JaspritBumrah as his current favourite in the national side. The ex-CSK skipper chose Bumrah over the likes of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, noting that it was difficult to pick one best batter. ThalaDhoni added that he hoped India would continue scoring runs while admitting that it was easy for him to pick a favourite bowler rather.
MS Dhoni said, “Current favourite, it’s easy to pick a bowler since Bumrah is there. It’s difficult to pick a batter because we have several good batters, but that doesn’t mean bowlers aren’t good. It’s difficult to pick one among batters as whomever I see batting.”
Among current players, no one can match the skills and excellence of Bumrah. He claimed 15 wickets at an impressive average of 8.26 and an astonishing economy rate of 4.17 in the T20 WC. He joined Virat Kohli as one of the Indian players to win the Men’s T20 World Cup Player of the Tournament award.
