While Varma earned his India debut in the first game of the short-format series, Mukesh had already made his Test and ODI debuts during the tour. Tilak received his first India call-up after excelling for the Mumbai Indians in the IPL 2023, and he didn't have to wait long to find his spot in the middle order.
