Sunrisers Hyderabad received a big setback as all-rounder Washington Sundar has been ruled out of the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League because of his hamstring injury. SRH confirmed this news on their official Twitter account and wished him a speedy recovery. Franchise will soon make May's replacement for Sundar for the remainder of the IPL season.
Sundar was a key player for the team as he provided major breakthroughs with the ball and chipped in with handy contributions lower down the order. He played around 7 matches for the franchise, where he took three wickets and scored 60 runs. He formed a spin combination with Mayank Markande and helped restrict the opponents with his economical bowling.
Sunrisers Hyderabad are going to take on the Delhi Capitals on April 29. They have already lost their home game to the Delhi Capitals, and Sundar was the pick of the bowlers as he took three wickets.
