Big Blow for Delhi Cricket as two of the star players are seeking NOC to switch domestic sides

It looks like there is no end of problems for Delhi cricket as the former captain Nitish Rana and the top run scorer of last year in the Ranji Trophy, Dhruv Shorey, have sought a No Objection Certificate from the DDCA to ply their trade for other states during the upcoming domestic season. On Friday, DDCA Joint Secretary Rajan Manchanda confirmed this development. although he assured that both cricketers will be spoken to and given a patient hearing to find out why they want to take such a decision.
Manchanda said, "Yes, it is true that both Dhruv and Nitish want to leave Delhi and have sought NOC. We will definitely request that they stay, as both are senior players and have served Delhi cricket. But the final decision will be theirs. If they don't agree, we will certainly give them an NOC."
It is understood that Rana, who was the white ball captain till last year, didn't like when he got replaced by Yash Dhull. He also has problems with a few players in the Delhi dressing room, and one of them is Mumbai Indians all-rounder Hrithik Shokeen, who did admirably well in red-ball cricket.
