Before the India vs. England 2023 World Cup clash, Wasim Akram says, “India are favorites, but England are wounded lions”

The former legendary fast bowler of Pakistan cricket team Waseem Akram feels that India will go into their 2023 World Cup match against England in Lucknow on October 29 as the favorite. However, he also reckons that the Men in Blue need to be wary of their opponents, as they might come up with a completely different brand of cricket.
England are rock bottom of the points table at the time of writing, with three losses from four games, and they probably need to win every remaining game to make it to the semifinals. Akram feels that with their backs to the wall, Jos Buttler and Co. may come out all guns blazing in Lucknow.
Speaking exclusively alongside former Indian cricketer Sreesanth, this is what Wasim Akram says about the India vs. England game: “India are favorites to win against England, but England are wounded lions. They will know that they have to win, and that could see them approach the game differently. However, India has played with controlled aggression.”
