Before LSG vs. GT, Hardik Pandya reveals Gujarat Titans pitcher Joshua Little
Fast bowler for the Gujarat Titans Joshua Little lavished praise on their team's coach, Ashish Nehra, and captain, Hardik Pandya, for showing faith in him. The Irish fast bowler created history as he became the first ever player from his country to play in the Indian Premier League. Till now, Little has had a mixed season with regards to his bowling, but he is very grateful for having Ashish Nehra and Hardik Pandya by his side. Nehra is quite vocal when it comes to coaching, whereas Pandya came across as a relaxed and laidback person.
Joshua said to CricketNext, "Like you said, we are both left-arm seamers, and he is very passionate about the game." and takes every second he can to share his knowledge with me. He pulls me aside every training session for 5–10 minutes and talks about plans and fields. "He has been an invaluable and special coach to work with just because of his passion and knowledge of the game."
He also said that Nehra is always on the ears of players, whereas Hardik Pandya is pretty laid-back but has quite a strong character when the situation demands. Pandya tries to remain calm and composed most of the time and backs players to deliver the goods.
While talking about Pandya, he said, "A very laid-back character but a strong character too." "There are two things that go hand in hand, and you can see that on the cricket pitch too.
