Before busy India Cricket Schedule Rohit Sharma & Co begin 42-day break
The IND vs SL ODI series is now done and dusted. Up next the India Cricket Team has a long 42 day break before the busy schedule kick starts. This more than a month period will give Rohit Sharma and GautamGambhir a perfect opportunity to reflect on the shortcomings of this series and prepare for what is about to come.
Ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy, India just has 3 ODI matches left. But most importantly, following the Sri Lanka series, the Men in Blue are gearing up for a tough schedule with plethora of T20I and Test matches. India will take on Bangladesh for 2 Test matches and 3 T20I matches after 42 days.

2. India vs New Zealand (3 Tests)
3. India vs South Africa (4 T20I)
4. India vs Australia (4 Tests)
5. India vs England (5 T20I, 3 ODI)
While the primary focus stays on the ICC Champions Trophy, it is also worth noting that India also has their eyes on the World Test Championship (WTC) Standings. India’s next match will be on 19th September against Bangladesh in a Test match at Chepauk.
