Bangladesh defeated AFG by 89 runs to stay in the competition

On Sunday, Bangladesh defeated Afghanistan by 89 runs in the Asia Cup 2023 match in Lahore. Bangladesh had suffered a humiliating setback over Sri Lanka in their first encounter, making this match a must-win for them. Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Najmul Hossain Shanto both hit a century as Bangladesh amassed a huge 334/5 in 50 overs.
