Autobiography of RCB captain Faf du plesis to release next month

South African cricketer Faf du Plessis has written a very introspective biography, due out in May this year, on his path of self-discovery, hardships and victories, and love for the game. The Royal Challengers Bangalore captain claims to take readers on a journey of self-discovery in "Faf Through Fire," published by Penguin Random House India's Ebury Press imprint, "tracing his growth from a young man with a questionable moral compass outside of cricket to a respected and admired leader known for his integrity, values, and empathy for his teammates."
Former South African cricket captain talks up about his experiences with some of the world's best players, including MS Dhoni, Gary Kirsten, Stephen Fleming, Graeme Smith, and AB de Villiers.
"I am very excited about the release of my book, 'Faf Through Fire,' in India." I've always felt at home here, and I've been really fortunate to have tremendous support throughout the years while playing in India. "I hope readers enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed sharing it," said du Plessis in a statement.

In more over 200 Test and ODI appearances, the 38-year-old has 22 hundreds and 56 half-centuries to his record.

"Most of you have seen Faf Du Plessis play and lead his team on the cricket pitch, but how many of you know who he is and what drives him?" "All of these questions and more will be answered in Faf Through Fire," stated Milee Ashwarya, publisher of Penguin Random House India.
