Asia Cup 2023 will provide a full package, including returning players, World Cup preparation, and three Indo-Pak matches

Cricket fans might get three possible India versus Pakistan matches along with a final chance for the five nations to put their respective houses in order before the World Cup starts. It is a tournament that has often struggled to find relevance in the middle of mushrooming bilateral contests over the last decade. Along with the waning popularity of the T20 Cricket World Cup 2023 edition, which is going to start on Wednesday, it has occupied a large slice of the mind space of all team thinking tanks.
This is going to be the final stop for five of the six teams except Nepal to find answers to some nagging questions before the global event, which is going to start on October 5. There is no doubt that there are also going to be some bilateral and practice matches before the World Cup 2023, but the Asia Cup, which is going to be played in Sri Lanka and Pakistan, will give the teams the atmosphere of a multination tournament.
Many star players like K.L. Rahul, Shreyas Iyer, Jasprit Bumrah, Prasidh Krishna, etc. are going to make their return in this big event. Although both of the pacers have already made their return to team India during the three-match T20 Series against Ireland, batsmen Rahul and Iyer are going to make their comeback through the Asia Cup.
