As per the report, Rishabh Pant's India comeback has been confirmed in the T20 World Cup 2024
The wicketkeeper and batsman of India, Rishabh Pant, is reportedly set to be a part of India’s squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup. Recently, Rishabh returned to action in the ongoing Indian Premier League 2024 after spending more than a year on the sidelines.
The star of the Delhi Capitals had not played competitive cricket since December 2022, as he was recovering from the injuries he had sustained in the horrific car accident. He finally returned to competitive cricket in IPL 2024 and has impressed one and all with his fitness. While many expected him to play only as a specialist batsman, Rishabh Pant has also been keeping right from the first game.
According to the reports, he is now in line to earn a recall from the Indian team for the all-important T20 World Cup. A proven match-winner, Rishabh Pant has left the other contenders behind with his performance in the IPL.
The report further said that the Indian team management is convinced that he is ready for international action. The report further added that, unless Rishabh Pant’s form dips drastically, he is likely to be a part of the Indian contingent for the World Cup.
