As BCCI to rope in ‘BEST coaches’ with Fans Demanding WPL 2023 winning Charlotte Edwards as Head Coach

BCCI secretary Jay Shah announced various openings for various positions in the supporting staff for the Indian senior women's cricket team will be advertised soon. This will give players access to a full-fledged support staff. Indian cricket fans are demanding the coach of winning Mumbai Indians in WPL 2023 Charlotte Edwards at helm.  Jay Shah said that the best coaches would be roped in so that players will get help, realise their full potential, and also achieve excellence on and off the field. Jay Shah tweeted, "As CWG silver medalists, Asia Cup champions, and finalists at the T20 and ODI World Cups, @BCCIWomen (senior women) have put in one impressive performance after another." It is imperative that we have dedicated, full-fledged support staff to drive the team forward. He also added in a tweet that "we will soon issue advertisements for various positions for Team India senior women support staff." "The best coaches will be roped in to help our players realise their full potential and achieve excellence on and off the field."
Currently, former Indian cricketer Hrishikesh Kanitkar is leading the Indian side's support staff. He had taken over as the batting coach of the team before the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2023 last year. Ramesh Powar, the former all-rounder, vacated his role as head coach in order to move to the National Cricket Academy, which is headed by former batsman VVS Laxman.
