As BCCI snubs KKR Star For WI T20Is, Fans Voice out their frustration
One of the most brilliant batsmen from the Indian Premier League 2023 season, Rinku Singh, found no place in the Indian squad as the Board of Control for Cricket in India announced the squad for the T20I series against the West Indies. He finished the IPL campaign for KKR with 474 runs to his name at an average of 59.25 and a strike rate of 149.52.
The BCCI did give maiden call-ups to a few young guns, including Mumbai Indians' Tilak Varma. Seeing Tilak preferred over Rinku in the squad, some fans weren't happy.
Taking to Twitter, many fans wrote 'Justice for Rinku Singh' as they criticised the BCCI selection committee for snubbing the talented finisher.
Senior members like Rohit Sharma, ViratKohli, Mohammed Shami, etc. weren't picked as the BCCI announced the squad for the T20Is against the Windies.
