Fast bowler Arshdeep Singh of Punjab Kings put on a display of amazing bowling against Mumbai Indians on Saturday as Punjab Kings won the match against Mumbai Indians and recorded their fourth victory of the Indian Premier League season 2023. Although the batting effort of the Punjab Kings was good, it was Arshdeep Singh's performance that brought the victory to the team, as he had a successful night with the ball. Arshdeep took four wickets and broke stumps on two clean-bowled dismissals. He also climbed to the number one spot in the IPL 2023 purple cap ranking with a total of 13 wickets. He posed with the broken storm and the purple after the match.

Arshdeep took the wicket of Ishan Kishan in the opening over of the Mumbai Indians and prevented power hitter Tim David from striking on the opening delivery. After this, he bowled some amazing death deliveries, which led to the victory of the Punjab Kings against the Mumbai Indians.
Punjab Kings will play against Lucknow Super giants on Friday, April 28, at their home ground in Mohali.
