Anrich Nortje is going to miss the match between DC and RCB because of a personal emergency

The Delhi Capitals will be playing against Royal Challengers Bangalore in the first match of the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League on Saturday without Anrich Nortje. The South African speedster has to travel back home because of a personal emergency. He is supposed to return before the match against the Chennai Super Kings on Wednesday, but the situation makes him doubtful for that match as well.

Delhi Capitals said in a statement that owing to a personal emergency, Delhi Capitals fast bowler Anrich Nortje had to leave for South Africa late on Friday night. "He will be unavailable for this evening's game against Royal Challengers Bangalore."

Nortje reached the milestone of 100 T20 matches during the Delhi Capitals' match against the Mumbai Indians at the home ground of Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. In his 100th T20 match, Nortje gave away 35 runs in 4 hours as he failed to take any wickets and ended up with an economy rate of 8.80. He scored only five runs with the bat.
