In the ACC men's emerging Asia Cup, India A got a victory over Pakistan A. Sai Sudarshan smashed an unbeaten century as he scored 104 runs on 110 balls, and Nikin Jose scored 53 runs in 64 balls, which helped India A chase down the target of 26 runs set by Pakistan A in only 36.4 overs. The eight-wicket victory of India A helped the team finish on top of group B in the emerging teams Asia Cup. Rajvardhan Hangargekar took 5 wickets while giving 42 runs as India bundled out Pakistan A for 205 runs only in Colombo. He started off with a double-wicket maiden and then came back to finish off the tail. Manav Suthar gave his full support to Rajvardhan as he took three wickets.
The 48-run knock of Pakistan A team player Qasim Akram was very important to take the team over 200 runs. Now the Yash Dhull-led team will be meeting Bangladesh A, who are the runners-up of group A, in the semi-final match, while Pakistan A will be meeting the winners of group A, Sri Lanka, in the other semi-final match.
