Former player of India and CSK Ambati Rayudu is planning to take part in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections from either Krishna or Guntur districts of Andhra Pradesh. Earlier, Rayudu had made his intentions clear about entering politics after the IPL 2023 season. Now, the former player from CSK will join YSRCP. Rayudu, who is from Guntur, had also met the CM of Andhra Pradesh and YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy twice to discuss the Lok Sabha Elections.
Reddy is eager to field Rayudu in the next polls but has yet to make a decision on whether to field him in the assembly or Lok Sabha polls. CM Jagan Reddy has been an inspiration to Rayudu and all other youngsters entering politics. Jagan is focusing on all aspects instead of focusing on one aspect.
As per Rayudu's statement, "CM Jagan Mohan Reddy is a big inspiration for youngsters entering politics. He is spearheading development in all the regions instead of concentrating on one area. The CSK star also confirmed that he would go by Jagan’s decision.
According to some reports, Rayudu is likely to contest the elections from Ponnur or Guntur West district if he wants to contest the assembly polls. Some of the senior politicians feel the Machilipatnam Lok Sabha constituency is the best bet for Rayudu to conduct elections.
