Ambati Rayudu announces his IPL retirement and confirms that this IPL Final against GT will be his last game

The star player of the Chennai Super Kings, Ambati Rayudu, announced his retirement today from the Indian Premier League, confirming that the finals of the 16th edition against the Gujarat Titans are going to be his last match in the tournament. Rayudu has been part of CSK since 2018 and has won three titles with the franchise. Before CSK, he had been a part of the Mumbai Indians, from where he began his IPL career in 2010.
Rayudu wrote on his official Twitter account, "2 great teams, MI and CSK, 2004 matches, 14 seasons, 11 playoffs, 8 finals, and hopefully a 6th trophy tonight. It's been quite a journey. I have decided that tonight’s final is going to be my last game in the IPL. I have truly enjoyed playing in this great tournament. Thank you all. No, you turn."
