All-rounder Shivam Dube is ruled out of the remainder of the Ranji Trophy, paving the way for Musheer Khan’s entry

The all-rounder of Mumbai Shivam Dube has been ruled out of the remainder of the Ranji Trophy owing to an injury. Dube has sustained a bilateral side strain, which he picked up in the side’s previous game against Assam. The squad for Mumbai’s quarterfinal clash with Baroda will be picked on Tuesday.
As per the news report, Dube suffered a grade 1 tear that forced him to stay off the field in the 2nd inning against Assam. U19 star Musheer Khan is most likely to be named as his replacement.
A source said, “Dube has a bilateral side strain injury and is likely to be out of the rest of the Ranji Trophy season. He suffered an injury while batting in the last match against Assam, and he didn’t come out to field in Assam’s 2nd inning at BKC. He has a grade-one tear. Musheer Khan is likely to be his replacement.”
Dube has 405 runs to his name from five Ranji games this season. He averages 67.83 in the current season, with two centuries and two fifties to his name. He played an unbeaten 121-run knock in the game against Assam, where he was injured.
