Tomar's interest for the sport that would become his profession was sparked by his childhood pleasure of shooting balloons at a fair near Bahadur's hamlet, where he had 35 acres of property.Tomar defeated fellow Indian Rudranksh Balasaheb Patil in a shoot-off to secure the bronze medal as Chinese Lihao Sheng and Korean Hajun Park took home the gold and silver, respectively.
