Aishwarya Pratap Singh Tomar wins bronze at the Asian Games, and his family rejoices in Ratanpur

Father Veer Bahadur Singh Tomar was getting ready to leave for the family farm in their Madhya Pradesh hamlet of Ratanpur as 21-year-old Aishwary Singh Tomar was getting ready to win the bronze medal in the men's 10m air rifle competition at the Asian Games in Hangzhou, China. Tomar's interest for the sport that would become his profession was sparked by his childhood pleasure of shooting balloons at a fair near Bahadur's hamlet, where he had 35 acres of property.Tomar defeated fellow Indian Rudranksh Balasaheb Patil in a shoot-off to secure the bronze medal as Chinese Lihao Sheng and Korean Hajun Park took home the gold and silver, respectively.
