The Pakistan Cricket Team is preparing for the ICC T20 World Cup. After beating Ireland, the Men in Green are in England to play four T20I matches. Before the series started, Pakistani skipper Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan travelled to Sussex to get new bats for the mega ICC tournament.
Reports claim that both the Pakistani aggressive batters visited the Grey-Nicolls shop to add more bats to their collection. It is understood that the duo wanted to ensure that their new bats would help in their aggressive stroke play in the ICC T20 World Cup.
Pakistan made a strong comeback in the 3-match T20I series against Ireland. After going down in the opening game, Babar Azam and Co. fought back hard to win the series 2-1. As the Men in Green continue their preparations for the ICC event, they will take on the Three Lions for a 4-match series.
Pakistan will play their first match against England on May 22 at Leeds. And ahead of the series, Babar and Rizwan got a big boost by adding new bats to their collection.
For Pakistan, a lot depends on their batters. The team came under huge scrutiny after failing to perform in the ODI World Cup and the series that followed. Babar gave up his captaincy and was re-appointed months before the ICC event again.
