Ahead of the IND vs. BAN Test series, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are likely to feature in the Duleep Trophy
The India Cricket Team will next take on Bangladesh in a two-match Test series. However, there are several reports claiming that ahead of the series, the captain of team India, Rohit Sharma, and star batter Virat Kohli are likely to play domestic cricket. The selection committee wants the ace duo to play Duleep Trophy.
It is unclear if both players can play in the opening game of the tournament, as the dates would clash with the IND vs. BAN Test series. But apart from the rest of the Indian players, it is highly likely that the duo will take part in the tournament.
The clash of dates can cause a big problem for the duo. The Duleep Trophy starts on 5th September and will conclude on 24th September. Meanwhile, the 1st Test between India and Bangladesh will start on 19th September in Chennai.
